Telling a story with your photographs a collage of your memories can provide a lasting remembrance of a particular moment in time….

When it comes to doing a scrapbook page I tend to let the main focus be the photograph…

So I enjoy a clean simple look with perhaps a small amount of wording…

I have been following along with Ali Edwards Computer Scrapbooking tutorials and she suggested adding a journaling block to the mix…

Here’s what I added to the page…

Jan 2nd, 2010… Remember This?…
Do you remember that trip to the beach?
Do you remember how cold it was, so cold we couldn’t feel our fingers, but we had to have that shot?
Remember how I wrote Herb in the sand, the joke name given to Brian & Penny’s baby to be?
Do you remember the pub lunch queueing for ages to get into The Squire?
Do you remember the food, how we all agreed it was well worth waiting for?
Do you remember sinking in the sand in your high heeled boots?
I’ll remember this always.  xx

Although I feel that photographs alone can tell their own tale, adding a written account of the moment I see now can greatly enhance the story…
