Do you ever dream of a wall of your favorite photographs?

I have this wall, it’s a hallway and it’s a shade of gold, pretty enough but plain and boring.

Now my kitchen wall now that’s a different story.

I have this wall, well it’s actually the back of a cupboard, it’s brown but you can’t tell it’s brown as it’s covered in photographs.

Now isn’t it time the hallway caught up?

I have this plan, a plan to cover that hallway, not in photographs alone this time, but in framed photographs, the very best of the collages I have created over the years, it’s just a plan at the moment, one of those build over time ideas.

But it’s a plan, an actionable plan…

Now to start putting that photo frames wall plan into action…

What’s the first thing you do when you walk into a friends home, after plonking yourself down on their comfy couch that is?

That’s right you glance around the room checking out their decor and have a nosy at any photographs.

Why not be the envy of your family and friends?

Display large collage picture frames loaded with your favorite photographs and or treasures proudly up on the wall adding that all important drama and style around your home.

3 Ideas for filling Large Picture Frames

Babies Room – Firstly pick a frame which co-ordinates with the color and feel of your babies room, then decide which photographs of your baby you would like to add to use. Why not take a close up photo of your babies face and perhaps use this one in black and white, than add a couple of shots of their feet and maybe take a photograph of their tiny hand in your partners hand and blur out the background so you really focus on the hands. Next add some memorabilia to the mix perhaps the baby ultrasound picture, the birth announcement or christening invitation, the possibilities are endless for creating a stunning unique creation to really personalize their room.
Preteen Room – For a young child’s room you could put up a frame containing those first nervous day shots that we all take of our children before they step on the school bus to be transported to a new grade. Once you have all these first day shots gathered together from preschool to fifth grade, you could then add your favorite pieces of their work that you have treasured throughout their middle school years, (which have by the way been languishing at the bottom of those large cardboard boxes for years) go on rescue them and show your children just how proud you are of their achievements and creations!
Teenage Room – Modern wall picture frames for a teenager could look great filled with all the latest photographs of them and all their many friends, to these frames I would consider adding some of the artwork from their CD cases to add to the frame displaying their favorite bands or perhaps the ipod logo could be added symbolizing the many hours they spend with their earplugs in!
